Pros

I have worked at Cortech for 3 years and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fun and fast paced working environment with great growth opportunities. It’s an amazing place to work at as it has great company benefits with a strong and caring management team. Company Benefits - Cortech has good healthcare and dental program, matched 401K plan, with great holiday schedules; - I had never worried about my Monday breakfast because Cortech has always provided. In addition, there is always company-paid train-and-learn lunch sections; - BTW, you will soon be spoiled by Melanie, the branch manager. She is the best chief, and she cooks for the whole company for special events. Be prepared to be amazed by her delicious dishes; (Blake, you made me jealous) Work Culture - At Cortech, colleague treats me like a family member. Staff at all level is supportive and willing to help each other; - The company trains its employees to become the expert. I had received a great amount of basic pump training and been introduced to comprehensive hydraulic system knowledge from Brent and Shashank, be open and you will always be learning something new; - Cortech drives to have the perfect balance in professionalism and employee's comfort, you are allowed to wear jeans and/or shorts on Fridays; - Cortech will work with your schedule and understand personal emergency does happen; Magementment - Marc and Melanie are always approachable, they care about and willing to help an individual in achieving his or her career goal. - I have always felt secure about my position because any major company’s decision was to ensure the balanced benefit of the employee and the company. - Cortech has now been merged with DXP, the industry leader. I have a great confidence in the company, and I expect Cortech to play a bigger role in the industry, you will have a lot to grow with the company.

Cons

Freeway 57 is a bit hard to go through, however; Cortech is willing to work with your schedule

Pros

Having worked for Cortech since it's inception and then retired in 2014, I believe that I am in the position to give a fair evaluation of the company. One caveat that I must state though, is the fact that Cortech was acquired by DXP Enterprises since my retirement. What changes have been instituted in the sales process I cannot comment on. I say this due to the fact that Cortech is a Sales Distribution company and all other departments are for the support of sales; and this is coming from the ex-CFO. Now to the review......Cortech has probably the one most diverse pump and process equipment product lines in the industry. While it might overwhelm some, a competent sales professional will flourish in this arena. The sales staff has been overseen by Marc Sanchez for the past 15+ years and he is one of the most competitive/efficient sales professionals I have known. You, as a new salesperson, will receive good training and will be held accountable for results. I consider this all as a positive if you want to work for a successful company. If you are a successful Industrial Sales Professional, I definitely recommend giving Cortech Engineering a serious look.

Cons

Not a negative regarding Cortech Engineering, but I am not in the position to review the company in areas that may have changed since the acquisition by DXP Enterprises.
