Cornish Farm Okay - Retail Assistant Cornish Farm Produce Employee Review

Plenty of hours in the summer months and steady throughout the winter period. Pay not too bad but no time and half for over time. Holidays can be taken if given enough notice. Fruit and veg etc at cost.

Extremely poor Management style with little/no care for employees. People doing the same job on different pay. Absolutely no praise for hard working staff, only negatives. 6 days a week for most staff with the night crew doing the bulk of the work. No contract of employment, nothing to pack orders into, just what we can scratch together (very unprofessional!!). Every member of warehouse staff is deeply unhappy with the place and is unlike any previous job I have had. Some of the other employees can be quite confrontational which management knows about but does nothing about, can make for a depressing work atmosphere. Don't tell management anything personal or confidential, it won't remain confidential and is more than happy to tell everyone!

Everybody on different pay for doing same job it's all about if your face fits

Boss is a joke two faced and a back stabber. Thinks he's better than everybody else. Treats his staff like dirt unless your face fits. And if you ever leave the company he like to make up stories about ya to try and cause trouble but he don't tell ya to your face cos hes spineless and gets other people to do his dirty work for him so puthetic. Probably explains why hes lost so many staff
