Pros

When I started 9+ years ago it was a fun place to work. We had a pretty good team and we relied on each other and supported each other. It had a small company feel. This has all changed. See Cons.

Cons

When covid hit eventually we were all sent home. We grew accustomed to remote working quickly and keeping electronic files. Since working remotely our corporate headquarters have become more and more apparent. We all became very distant and alot of good work practices were lost. There was no interaction from management unless you had issues. And only then the interaction was kept to the very bare minimum, only what was necessary. Our current manager shows COMPLETE disconnect, only to pass on corporate directives. I feel like a puppet more than ever.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our culture is created by the interconnected way in which we operate and work as part of one team, so we’re sorry to hear that you have recently felt a lack of strong leadership and open communication. While there are unique challenges and opportunities in a remote work environment, we are committed to fostering a workplace where we connect through teamwork and collaboration and where everyone feels heard, valued and motivated in their roles. As part of our ongoing training and development program, we engage with our people leaders using a curriculum that gives them tools to support each team member, improve communication and teamwork, and cultivate an open, supportive environment. We’re disappointed to hear your experience has not aligned with these standards. We want you to know that we value your feedback and will share your thoughts to identify opportunities for improvement. You are also encouraged to contact your HR representative if you feel comfortable doing so. We look forward to continuing to work together as we grow and improve.

Pros

Work from home is the best one!

Cons

Not many, other than it’s a corporate setting so decisions get made slowly. Including decisions that might improve work.

Pros

Solid Corporate Blueprint: The high-level organization has an excellent strategic framework. Corporate-led continuous improvement initiatives, modern operator training systems, and matrix reporting structures demonstrate a commitment to long-term operational excellence. Infrastructure: The manufacturing assets, MES software setup, and technical scope of work provide a great environment for data-driven engineering and process optimization. Benefits: Compensation, day-one medical benefits, and corporate-level resources are competitive for the regional market.

Cons

Culture of Compliance: The facility culture prioritizes absolute personal compliance over objective operational excellence. Constructive feedback or process critiques are routinely penalized or labeled as "attitude problems," stalling genuine quality progression. High Indirect Turnover: This management-by-coercion style has dismantled workplace psychological safety, leading to ongoing administrative volatility and high turnover among supervisory and technical staff.
