Co-workers are great. Special projects for local charities and giving back to the community. Excellent benefits. Would be hard not to succeed at Corken as they constantly dangle just above rock bottom.
Cons
Annual merit raises are a peanut butter spread of 2-3% for all, which discourages most from going above and beyond. Lacks good leadership as this is just a training ground for Idex Corporation's future executive teams. GM and upper management is changed out on average every 2 years. Which results in constant changes with strategic goals and direction so long term projects are usually left uncompleted and typically fail once a new GM is appointed. The constant changes and GM appointees has resulted in new GM's coming in always wanting to slash resources in attempts to increase profits have lead to on-time-delivery averaging 60-70% to our customers, high employee turnover, and hourly and salary employees averaging around 30% overtime per week. The organization is grossly understaffed with no support for much needed resources.
