- Plenty of opportunities to learn - Focus on newest programming practices, especially functional programming - Code doesn't get stale, always refactoring - No bureaucracy or red tape, very flat organization - Extremely flexible schedule/WLB and good PTO - Fully remote company
Cons
- No upward mobility (titles), largely due to the flat organization - Occasional "busy seasons" where 10-12 hour days are expected for a few weeks in a row, a couple times per year - Small company, few employees - Still finding a solid foothold in the market
