Pros

As the headline suggests, Cora is a great company to help employees grow and develop their careers due to an amazing pool of talent to work along side in all areas of the business, great mix of seasoned professionals, graduates and those in-between, There are generous learning and development programmes that Cora subsidise for their staff for additional courses, qualifications etc. There are excellent global travel opportunities, as well as working from home options. This was very important to me and the empathetic approach from leadership has been invaluable. Although perhaps a little cliché to say but the best part of the company are the people, a positive and talented bunch from whom I can always learn from.

Cons

Perhaps some drawbacks stem from the current period of hyper growth and the natural growing pains that come with that. Lots of new ideas and processes from the influx of new people joining just needs to be streamlined, but that's temporary

Pros

Some "work flexibility". If you like to travel, theres opportunities to do so. Their product has a lot of potential. Mid-level employees are generally good people to work with.

Cons

If you are reading this in preparation for an interview, I would ask questions specifically about the points below and their plans to improve, make them be specific in their responses. If they give you some sort of general answer, just know, they have no real plan of improving anything. Terrible culture starting with terrible upper and senior management completely lacking in basic relationship skills such as: - tactful communication - ability to build any trust or stability amongst the team - feedback Company has a high turnover rate, about 12 people came and left within a year of being hired, or in one case quit within about a month of joining because of the complete chaos. The stress levels are very high, most people are looking for another job. Leadership has and will sellout in throwing their own team members under the bus, and have fired numerous people at the request of customers, without notice, regardless of good performance. Two-faced politics are very real at the this company, they will preach we're all "Cora family", but their actions would say otherwise otherwise. Their is no onboarding process to speak of, sink or swim mentality from day one, with no structured support, and when/if you fail, the blame will fall on you.
