Intelligent and supportive colleagues, exposure to high-profile clients and brands. Felt I gained broad insight into different categories and companies and developed a strong base for quantitative analysis and marketing analytics. Despite aggressive deadlines and a large workload I felt my manager and VPs were always available to answer any questions I had. My colleagues seemed to genuinely care about my personal growth and development.
Cons
Client interaction is limited at the junior level and there are few opportunities to significantly influence project strategy or hone presentation skills until a certain amount of tenor at the company. Upward mobility within the firm is slow and a somewhat bureaucratic process given the company's ownership by Aegis-Dentsu. During my time at the firm there was also a resource issue so hours could be long and often erratic. Turnover was common.
Product itself is outstanding
Exposure to clients senior management
Salary is good, slightly above average
Cons
Turn-over in the sky
Limeted support locally
Up or out in very short period
No exposure to the heart of the engagement
Ethics is not a major concern - you may even face legal problems later on
