After reading your post, I recognized that you noted that you are a current employee and I appreciate you taking the time to voice your frustration. I would, however, like to attempt to speak to a number of the things you mention.
First, like most employers, Copart desires to be able to offer our employees regular wage increases and conducts market studies to ensure that our increases are in line with other companies in the markets in which we operate.
If you have received negative pushback from a manager about your interest in serving on our Catastrophe team ("CAT") I would encourage you to reach out to your Regional Manager, Regional VP, or Regional HR Manager to make them aware. We look to our employee base for volunteers for this annual commitment and see it as a great career-building opportunity for those who qualify.
With regard to your comments about being asked to act in an unprofessional/unethical manner, if you believe a member of the Copart team is acting in an inappropriate manner and in violation of our company policies and procedures, I strongly encourage you to contact your Regional VP, your Regional HR Manager, or me to provide more details. ACTING WITH INTEGRITY is not just a slogan for a poster on the wall at Copart--it is something we value and and we take these issues extremely seriously.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly, either by email at rory.seidens@copart.com or via phone at 972-391-5185 if you would like to discuss your concerns further.
