Pros
- Able to work from home
Cons
- Competitive work environment for no reason whatsoever. It was a support role…not a sales role which is the way they treated it. - They don’t accept suggestions from employees who deal with everything daily. - If you step out of line (I.e. make suggestions to better the department) they will write you up and claim it’s for something you already brought to up upper management, HR, and anyone else who would pretend to listen and then fire you for write ups. - Unfair production tracking: numbers are not calculated correctly. I told them multiple times and showed them examples and exactly how to fix it. The way they calculate production flat out encouraged people to take shortcuts on necessary tasks, produce low quality work, and be shady and were then rewarded for “high production numbers”. The ones who did their job correctly were punished for low productivity when in reality more time was spent correcting the mistakes of “top performers” and we were unable to focus on increasing numbers without trading the quality of the work. - management have their favorites: they will fight tooth and nail for those they like (the top performers that make them look good or their friends) but if they don’t like you, they will make your work life a living hell through micromanagement, write ups for no reason and offer no coaching to help correct the “problem”, ignoring questions you ask about work. In my almost 1 year of employment with this department they lost 5-7 employees due to the horrible management driving them out or firing them for addressing these same concerns. Toxic doesn’t even begin to describe what it’s like working with this company in that department.
