Is this your company?

Pros

There's quite a few I could list here, but the one that mattered the most to me is that you have directly, consistent interaction with the local office. Most of the staffing firms in Austin (or those that claim to be with fake office fronts) practice "submit and forget". And once you get on with the client, the only time you hear from them is when it's time to collect time sheets. With Cooper, I have regular interactions with the Recruiting Manager, HR, and the president of the company. Concerns and issues are addressed in a timely manner and as a team.

Cons

It's been said before on here, but the home office isn't in the greatest area. But since almost all projects or positions are at the customer location, you really only have to go there to fill out onboarding paperwork.

Pros

Loved reporting directly to management and being able to get heard on - well - really anything that was up for me. Dogs allowed in office - so that was cool. Lots of new and different all the time so while it was a little intimidating I was never bored.

Cons

Not really a company "con" but the contracting issues in state government created all kind of challenges for all of us.
