The product delivers real, measurable benefits to the end user and enjoys a high level of support in the medical community. As a company, Cool Systems practices an enlightened approach to management, giving employees a lot of latitude to participate, engage and make a difference. Communication is fairly transparent, and everyone is knowledgeable as to the state of the business. The Cool Systems culture promotes teamwork, honesty and high performance.
Cons
One of the downsides has been that management's "can-do" attitude has lead to a lack of focus and time spent trying to accomplish too much for the resources available. This has since been rectified with the appointment of Russ Harrison as the new CEO.
