Pros

The hiring process was quick. The job is easy to learn and easy to understand if you pay attention. I worked hard and got promoted after only working for the company for eight months! Coworkers and upper management are very friendly and will assist you whenever possible. Yes, there can be lots of overtime. (As the company assists with client benefits, there is a quarterly turnover so call volume tends to increase at the start of each new quarter. You won't be complaining when you see the paychecks.

Cons

I was never keen on the company going fully remote in the US. Felt it's created more headaches, especially when having to mail out equipment for new employees. (Progress has been made, so there have been some improvements.) It's also somewhat frustrating that they only hire people in the Southeast because that's where the IT office is closest. (I have known lots of people in the Southwest that are always asking if the company is hiring.) In my current position, it has become increasingly upsetting that we hire temp. employees who turn out to do a great job and are not presented with an opportunity to become permanent full time. Instead, I constantly see employees who have been with the company for years constantly underperforming, yet aren't let go. Temps are often told that the job is nothing more than that with zero incentive, causing them to either quit mid-training because they landed another permanent job or to just go through the motions and meet the bare minimum requirements because they know this job has an end date at some point.

I've had some bad jobs in the past but this has to be the best worst one. They gave me a 1-month temporary position without actually telling me when the end date was. If you asked when the last day was, you were told I don't know. Then on my last day mid-shift without any prior notice I and 20 other people were told this was our last day. Not a 1 or 2 week notice but just on the spot, you're all being let go. I knew it was a temporary position but any kind of prior notice would have been professional. What's worse is they made it sound like we will be able to stay longer just so we would stay initially. The pay was minimum wage, I was paid late each time and had more expectations than any job I've had before. Training was awful and did not prepare you for the job at all. We spent 3 weeks watching PowerPoint slides as a way of trying to understand the job instead of watching other people do the job. The only way you learned how to do the job was from QAs passive aggressive comments in our evaluations. This was humiliating and I can't even put this job on my resume. They took advantage of desperate people to put us on the job for the busiest season and then let us go even though the call volume was still high just so they could save some pennies. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone who has any self-respect.
