Pros

Conversation tends to recruit good people. There is camaraderie within the teams and many employees spend time with one another away from the office. The lead designer - the only long standing employee at the agency - is talented and great to work with/for.

Cons

I don't hold any person I've met in lower regard than the founder of Conversation, and I'm not alone in this opinion; very few people tolerate working with him for more than just a few months. In fact, the employee roster at Conversation turns over almost entirely every 180 days or so. Employees tirelessly work to deliver value for clients only to see their efforts scuttled whenever the founder interferes. An ironic side effect of this is that the agency's employees tend to bond over their mutual resentment of the founder. I encourage anybody considering a job at Conversation to read Forbes' article about the agency following its appearance on AMC's "The Pitch." Forbes expounds upon the founder's arrogance, petulance, cruelty, and dishonesty.

Pros

Great clients, great team. Solid accolades for a smaller agency. Good plan.

Cons

It sometimes feels run and gun but that's the business.

Pros

Team is awesome, except for the occasional people who got hired because they flirted with the CEO.

Cons

Everything else. Phones get disconnected in the middle of the work day. Eviction notices on the office door when you come in, this place is a nightmare. You'll come in early, work late, and will receive zero acknowledgement or recognition. Because of this, don't expect any advancement in your career. CEO (or Founder as he prefers to be called) is a joke. All of our clients hated him and told him so to his face quite often. He would then take his aggression out on the team. Also, If you get paid at all, expect it to be late.
