Pros
if you work within an office that is helpful and works together it can be pretty easy to attain goals.
Cons
if your office does not work well together and people are just in it for themselves, then it makes it difficult as a newer employee to understand operations and how to target the right customers for sales. The comp seemed much better before I started, but with changes in prices its harder to negotiate higher margins on projects, which lowers the commission. In order to hit your goals, you need work orders and jobs coming in from big customers consistently, or you need to land large projects, which are fewer and further inbetween
