Pros

The marketing team are brilliant (and this is coming from a sales person).

Cons

Toxic environment. Definitely not a merit-based culture. Corporate bullying, "office banter" and ageism (young is bad) are the standard. GTM "strategy" changes often and mostly relies on your existing network (unsustainable and unscalable). The CRO has a habit of stepping in late and taking over deals you’ve worked hard to close. There have even been cases where people were let go just days before big deals came through. C-suite execs will sometimes jump into your accounts and offer discounts or terms that go against your strategy—without looping you in. Speaking of the C-suite—there are ten of them, which is about 10% of the whole company. That alone raises eyebrows. Even worse, they often huddle in small groups before board meetings instead of aligning as a team. If the execs aren’t even on the same page, that says a lot about how the place is run. Make sure you fully understand the commission plan before accepting an offer. Don't get me started on DEI, non existent. All in all, think twice before joining.
