Pros

Work from home. Yeah that’s about it.

Cons

They have stopped sharing critical information about the health of the company to the employees. The numbers that every employee ought to know. When asked about it, we don’t get a straight answer. Lots of word salad amounting to nothing. What we see around us are layoffs after layoffs. In addition to key people quitting, those who’ve been critical to customers we have or had.

Pros

Exciting Vision & Renewed Focus: The company has undergone significant changes, but the new leadership is steering us in the right direction. The focus on IAST and ADR as key solutions is a game-changer for application security. Transparency & Culture Shift: Management has made a real effort to be more transparent and bring back the startup energy that made this company great in the first place. Passionate & Talented Team: Despite the challenges, the passion among employees is returning. The people who remain are dedicated, talented, and genuinely want to see the company succeed. Opportunities for Impact: With a more focused product direction, employees have a real chance to shape the future of appsec and work on cutting-edge security solutions.

Cons

Layoff Aftermath: The layoffs were tough on morale, and the company is still recovering. Some employees are struggling with the rapid changes. Execution Needs to Catch Up to Vision: While the vision is exciting, there’s still work to be done in executing it effectively and ensuring everyone is aligned. Shifting Priorities: With a history of trying multiple products across SAST, IAST, Serverless, and SCA, some employees are feeling uncertain about the long-term roadmap and what success looks like.

Pros

Please browse through some reviews to get a sense. You’ll find the answer is: none.

Cons

The company has got to the stage where it is all about keeping the lights on, survive the next quarter. But who is the survival for? Layoffs used to be an annual thing. Then it was every six months. And now it’s just rolling, nonstop layoffs. Any given day you can find someone deactivated on Slack. It could be someone who was here for a few months or someone who was here from the beginning, having poured their heart and soul into this place. So what does surviving next quarter mean? It means the CEO and his hand picked buddies brought in by him. Along with some other old toxic and political actors who serve the ego of the CEO. It is all about that these folks can earn their hefty paychecks for some more time.
