Pros

I enjoyed thr job itself. It is what I am family with and I'm good at. I enjoy talking to customers and vendors. The schedule is good also

Cons

The managers constantly micromanage. I have never been treated so bad in any place I have worked. While you are on the phone, the manager will constantly message you about the call and sometimes he was wrong as he didn't know what was going on. There was an issue with my computer where it randomly saved and no one would believe me. The training was horrendous and the staff is treated like dirt and peons. Oh lastly there is no life insurance or 401k

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we always welcome constructive input, clarifying a few points for accuracy is essential. First, regarding your concerns about management and micromanagement, our managers provided real-time coaching and guidance to help you succeed. We understand this level of engagement might feel unfamiliar; however, Contractors Direct has been in business for 30 years with many successful CSRs, This tactic is intended to foster learning and consistency for our customers and team. On training: you received the same structured training program and resources as all our successful team members. Finally, per our employee handbook, which was given in the first week, you would have seen that we offer a 401(k) plan — a benefit available to all eligible employees. We also encourage employees to ask management any questions about their benefits rather than assuming or spreading incorrect information. We treat every employee kindly and courteously. We reject your statement that employees are treated like dirt. We have had employees for 15 years, and our average employee job retention is 3.5 years. We wish you all the best in your future roles and hope you find a position better suited to your expectations.
