Pros

You can go and work here and do absolutely nothing and they will almost never fire you. even if you are less gifted mentally you can get one step up on the career path lather.

Cons

low pay. no respect. they don't know how to notice talent and are way to locked in to their processes. one time they printed a list of the most common used words in other languages and skilled an entire desk on all ten languages. I think they didn't realize that the callers would answer to the questions.

Pros

It was an experience to be cherished forever. Never worked in a company who had such wonderful people, great facility and excellent work culture. A part of the reason that it was originally a BMS facility which CPL took over and as soon as they took over, things went south. Within 5 years, CPL announced closure of the Buffalo plant and went back to their Canada head quarters leaving hundreds of Buffalo folks jobless. There are many theories why CPL did this, but it was never a situation of bankruptcy as there were plenty of new business coming in the Buffalo plant.

Cons

CPL is an Ontario based cheap contract manufacturer of semisolids and liquid pharmaceutical products. It might provide cheap contract manufacturing for bigger brand companies, but it treats its employers in miserable ways. They give meager resources to work with and typically blame the workers if the projects don't go well or miss deadlines. This can be an in-between job and not good for long term career prospects.
