Pros

- Level of organization - Really and truly a close-knit family and respectful, professional environment - Willingness to accommodate personal non-negotiables (for me was Sundays for church attendance)

Cons

- People I imagine are quick to point out the unfortunate nature of the business (missed package scans, call backs for package reattempts, etc.) and wish to pin it on the CDS staff, but that's an expectation of the work there is no way around the management being held to, and the same filters down the drivers. All in all, having worked for companies prior and for some since, that at the time was bothersome but is absolutely minimal with respect to experiences found in other positions I've had.

Pros

Friendly and helpful coworkers, very understanding contractor boss (who I worked for and paid me), extra routes/stops/stats/pickups/deliveries if you ever need it, requesting to leave early and a day or two off is usually granted with a week or so notice.

Cons

Higher ups and the ex customer service representative could be very rude, demanding, unwilling to listen/reasonable/helpful for the most part. Poor communication when it came to customer service/dispatch talking with drivers. Severely understaffed and hard to keep and find new employees. Long shifts (8-12+) hours. Myself and a couple other coworkers worked a 6 day week, RARELY worked Sunday too. We also had to rotate throughout the week to work a double shift due to being understaffed. ZERO pay raises. Stated the only way to earn more money is to take on more work, regardless if you’re already working 6 days a week plus 1-2 double shifts a week. There’s plenty more CONS, but that’s the main gist.
