Pros
I have been working at Context Matters for several years, and easily the best part of being employed here is the culture of the company. Both employees and management make a genuine effort to deal with each individual as a person and take into account their personal life experiences. These types of things span from a return to school, to extended travel, to family situations, to a respect for each employee’s personal life. This flexibility makes for better employees and coworkers.
The other reason to work here is because the people here are interesting and creative people. Many of them are experts in different areas of the work and most of them are happy to collaborate on individual projects and to make the overall application better. People have a commitment to a high quality of work which doesn’t support the few carrying the brunt of work for the many. There is never really a sense that something is within a person’s job description and jobs are constantly changing with the capabilities of the employee.
Cons
The disadvantages of working here are that the pay and benefits are mediocre, data entry can be tedious and there is a tendency for management to focus on sales without crediting other teams for their part in the eventual sale.
