Pros

30% staff discount ( but you can get that from shopping around elsewhere)

Cons

- no management structure - no long term employees - no senior management or staff besides owner - toxic environment with existing employees desperate to leave and crying - low pay across the board - unnecessarily chaotic workflow - owner is abrasive and cannot speak to or manage people - manipulation of new starters to believe the greenness means a good workplace - active avoidance of industry standard practice used at more successful companies

Pros

The team. When you go through something as emotionally damaging as working at Content you can't help but grow close bonds. You get a 30% discount but I would rather pay more and have my money go in someone else's pocket. You can also find most products cheaper elsewhere anyway.

Cons

The lies, the hypocrisy and the abuse. It starts at the interview when you will be sold a job that doesn't really exist for a company that has big plans that also don't really exist. Content is all about being environmentally friendly but staff are not allowed to spend time recycling (even when they ask to) and so products are thrown in the garbage rather than emptied and recycled, given to staff or donated. Content is also all for female-empowerment but the women are so badly paid and there are no concessions made for mothers. You will never be able to do anything good enough. You will be shouted at. You will be called names.

Pros

The products you get to see and work with

Cons

All employees are being ridiculously underpaid No benefits within the company (except 30% discount but you can find the products cheaper in other places) Strong avoidance of industry best practices No communication within the company - founder expects you the be constantly reading her mind and if you can't do that she will treat you like a child No management structure doesn't matter how experienced you are - you will get treated as an assistant Employees get emotionally bullied, sworn at and cry on a daily if you are lucky - weekly basis
