Pros

Most of my coworkers and I are described positively as “Jack of all trades, masters of none”.

Cons

Most of Contata's employees receive calls from the CEO evenings and weekends.There is also an expectation to work after leaving the office and every weekend. Unfortunately, there are no flexible working hours, no work from home days, salary is lower compared to other SaaS organizations in the Twin Cities, there are no sick days, fun or excitement in the office is not promoted, there are no floating holidays nor time off for volunteering. Current salaried employees get 10 PTO days and 6 national holidays off and free coffee and soda in the office. Micromanagement occurs often (even with senior team members), and new hires are subjected to a condescending attitude until 'proving' themselves. Contata does not increase pay per years with the organization but gives raises through counter offers once employees quit. At a cosmetic level, the office does not have task chairs, no standing desks nor natural light.

Contata Solutions is a great place to work. The Team is very kind. Tough but great team lead. I am grateful for my time at Contata
