Hmmm I'll get back to this to be fair the ability to work remote. But most people should not work remote as they're not cut out for the remote environment.

Almost everything. Training was ineffectual and poor. I cannot believe that Belk allows them to train people in this manner. My normal profession is in healthcare. I did not even go through this extremely rigid schedule as this place in healthcare. The pay is not realistic. During training NO practical application of job duties/responsibilities. "Nesting" period as they refer to it was horrible. No supervisor available whatsoever. Right after class training (first week)(all book work NO NO NO hands on not one bit. ). No tolerance for questions during "training" period during first week. Bookwork is only retained 20percebt in a person's mind and maybe 10-15percent is practically applied during job applications/responsibilities. No mock phone calls for practice. Very FIRST day of " nesting" you were thrown to the dogs --Live calls with customers of Belk. No No No supervisor available WHATSOEVER to intervene or help. I had 2 customers on phone for 20+ minutes For simple things that we should have received hands on training for until I finally figured how to transfer to a supervisor. All first week of book training absolutely did NOT apply not one bit to actual customer related questions. Belk must not care about their customers if they continue to use contact us as their customer call center. It is because of this poor company and training that I will NEVER call a business and give my info over phone. Definitely not Belk. (Their stuff is ugly and overpriced as a sidebar) I absolutely do not recommend starting with this company. Most will not make it. The company contact us does NOT promote an environment to help you succeed nor does it promote good customer service.
