Pros

Met people, learned about the insurance industry, and learned how to tolerate adult tantrums.

Cons

Dictatorship runs in this company. Your being watched like a child and they HATE when you suggest something that is not going according to their agenda. Even when your working hard to prove your a good employee, They will treat you with mediocre feedback. They have the most ridiculous people running this place. Explains why a whole department went to waste. Management is beyond repair. This company has inexperienced people running the office. People here are suck ups. You only stay if you literally let yourself be used to their needs only. They know they are in the wrong and is one of the main reasons why they are exporting jobs out of the country, so they can continue treating people like trash. It's easier to get away with.

Pros

This company provides a comfortable workplace and most importantly a great sales environment. Management will invest in you if you are someone who has a hunger for growth and the capacity to hold yourself accountable. There is an extremely low turnover rate from what I’ve seen so far working here. Most sales jobs, hire a class of 10+ people and by the end of the start date, 80% either left or were fired. Not at Consumer Portfolio Services, with good reason. If you are a professional sales person with the mentality and drive to hold yourself with humility to learn by comparison to those who are better than you… you will make good money and probably work here for decades. If you’re the kind of sales person who feels jealousy when you see someone doing better than you rather than learning and applying, you will not make money and this wont be a long term job for you.

Cons

Communication sometimes lack. You have to learn the internal processes of a deal on you're own rather than through a manager. Tenure matters here rather than performance, which sucks but makes sense. Invest first and theyll invest back.
