Pros
- Decent salary with quarterly bonuses and profit sharing in a 401(k) - Nearly always 40 hrs weekly without expectation to work more - Good, non-micromanaging managers
Cons
- For shop personnel, especially entry level, the pay is not always excellent given the positions. It is expressed that, as an hourly manufacturer, you can work OT to make up for it, but that's just working more for more money, not a higher pay rate. - Diversity is not so great. They are hiring more POC, which is great, but there are virtually no women working in manufacturing or engineering/field service
