Pros

Pros (!) are you kidding? From a career development and growth point of view pros doesn't exist here. Very good place to work if you are a loyal slave of the private equity firm, Symphony Technology Group (STG) that owns the company. I am confident all good online reviews about this company here/elsewhere come from STG loyal from shopzilla/Bizrate The company will spend fair bit of money for keeping you happy by providing free meals and drink all day every day and some social celebration Work-life balance is good only for people started with the initial company Shopzilla/Bizrate which was turned into Connexity business. For others work-life balance is on par.

Cons

Was a profitable business when it could milk online giants but that opportunity is shrinking towards non-existence. There is no future direction from the leadership team. Their only objective is cost saving and fire people to keep the business profitable in paper for the STG so that its parts can be sold for profit to other companies. I joined this company through acquisition and worked for about 20 months and learned all bad culture and politics that I couldn't learn in preceeding 3 years with the original business Connexity has aquired. No transparency in communication between investor, management, and employees No visibility of the future business direction and product direction by the employees C level executives won't hesitate to lie

Pros

Work hard, play hard mentality. Great culture and a lot of fun events that made my internship memorable.

Cons

Can be a bit empty in office sometimes as most work remotely.

Pros

Endless opportunities for the self-driven and ambitious. I was lucky enough to work under a single manager, David Weinrot, who entrusted me throughout my tenure to drive countless initiatives. He represents, for me, my time with the company. I still carry with me today much of what I learned wearing the many hats he provided access to across the company. Though demanding, he was a great partner in brainstorming new ideas, driving innovation and providing support when needed. This training provided me with the launchpad I needed to, after 5 years, move onto managing an organization with a budget of $120MM that leveraged all of the skills I learned under his direction.

Cons

The company as a whole, while I was there, had a lot going on. I am sure many things have changed since then, though I suspect success will hinge on comfort with agility and change, as with any modern company.
