Pros

Pretty surprised by the negative reviews, when I worked here I had nothing but great interactions and experiences. The core team has been with the company for at least a decade, they are welcoming and fun and easy going and more than willing to help the new guys. There was never a day when there wasn't laughter and comradery in the office. The partners at the company treat their employees like family, with tons of outings and trips and all sorts of incentives to push their employees to strive for better. I, unfortunately, had to leave to go back to school, but had that not been the case I probably would still have been working there. Great team, great company, great management!

Cons

At the time of my employment the only con was the look of the office itself, however, they recently renovated the entire office, it looks incredible. Very modern and inviting.

Pros

This is BY FAR the chillest job I have ever worked. There is no micro managing, managers are flexible, resources/training is readily available. Owner is very involved in the company and upper management generally cares about their employees. There is a ton of comradery on the floor and I genuinely enjoy working with everyone! It's a small company but as someone who has worked in massive companies where I was just a number--I love how valued I feel working at Connexion! Flexible 2 days remote and 3 days onsite is also the perfect schedule for me! Also management is sensitive to any personal emergencies/tragedies, I truly feel like a member of a great team. Thank you for making us feel seen! :)

Cons

It's a small company so obviously you don't get the flashy perks like larger companies offer. But on your birthday you will most likely get lunch to celebrate, milestones are remembered and there's a great yearly holiday party! Of course pay could be higher, however once you start making placements/billing you can make some great money!

Pros

I learned alot about the hiring process, HR, and made some great friends- CEO knows how to throw a party- Emily and Dan were GREAT! I really appreciate everything they have done for me-

Cons

The Providence team has two managers. One is really great- very knowledgable, clear SME in account management, recruiting, and business development. You will learn alot from her. The other manager is a bully- constantly belittling, always speaking down to staff- thinks she is the smartest person in the room but is really the laziest. She does not practice what she preaches and is never available on remote days (honestly not even working on remote work days), poor work ethic, responds to emails days later, and is not a strong leader or teacher beyond the first 6 months. She is rude, transactional, and cold- if you aren’t doing something for her, then she has no need for you. She consistently told her team to “use remote days as chill days, make it look like you’re working, but take it easy”- when this became evident to upper management they then talked to the entire staff (10 people) in one on one meetings where they asked the team for more effort. she somehow avoided any blame and CONTINUED not to work on remote days! On top of that she would have years of meetings with no feedback- and then out of no where threaten security or introduce metrics that were near sighted and were not in line with the statistics set for by the rest of the team. These “new metrics” were enforced using fear tactics and vague timelines coupled with TOO transparent firing of coworkers. There were times when management has created tense, hostile, or just uncomfortable situations….. talent acquisition is not HR, but should still abide by basic HR standards.
