Pros

I worked at C3 for a good 2 years and can confidently say I'm a better marketer for my time there. There are so many talented team members at the company who helped me grow, I had some fantastic opportunities, worked on some household name clients and the experience has significantly helped me moving forward. Genuinely the company has some best in class channel specialists who dont know how talented they are and that's across the whole agency from senior level to exec. On top of this I made friends for life, really solid people and I thank C3 for this. If I was looking to hire an agency, I'd hire C3.

Cons

Is the company perfect, no absolutely not. There's other reviews on here and yes there's some truth and some exaggeration. Was I at times overworked, yes and was it a real challenge at times, absolutely but that's agency life and I'd expect the same challenges at similar companies. What I will say is there were opportunities I tried to go for and was encouraged to go for but was overlooked with little feedback, that was super disheartening, but that's a small gripe.

Pros

There are some extremely talented individuals at C3, and I do feel that it is a really solid team. Some of the work done for clients is absolutely incredible and you can see from a mile away how hard everyone works. Also, you learn a lot about communicating with journalists and what it takes to create an effective campaign (as well as what not to do).

Cons

Far too much work and micromanagement put on every single employee really lets the business down, as well as impacting work quality. Those who are brave enough to question the way things are and suggest out of the box thinking or other ways of working end up slowly fading out. Is the extreme level of turnover, lack of people training and toxic favouritism simply “agency life”? As someone who was with the company for several years, it was so sad to see culture decline so rapidly. Almost all my friends were gone in the space of a year and a half. It will take a LOT of work to restore employee happiness and that starts with management not turning a blind eye or punishing employees. Please avoid.

Pros

Great health insurance benefits, friendly staff, and useful remote working arrangements.

Cons

The workload is too much to bear, even for agency life. All the amazing people I met at the start of my tenure have left due to burnout or being held back by managers who don't understand the needs of others who don't work the same way they do. There's a constant push from management to use AI because it's the only way to manage the workload they've put on everyone. There are also very few training/progression opportunities, and I never felt like I could ask my managers for help or advice without being judged or marked down for it.
