Pros
I worked at Connect Hearing for over 3 years and had a great experience. I later accepted another opportunity with an another large hearing company as they offered a higher salary. I worked at this other hearing company for 8 months and I realized the role was very different from working at Connect. The testing equipment wasn’t great, and the role involved a lot of out of clinic work, including community based marketing and remote testing and fittings. This experience highlighted how much I enjoyed Connect’s testing equipment, clinical structure, in clinic focus, and overall support. I was really considering rejoining Connect and I reached out to my former RSD. Both RSD and HR were great! They offered a salary increase and made the rejoining process smooth and fast, making it an easy decision to return to Connect. Been back for almost 2 months now and really enjoying it.
Cons
My previous cons were salary. I left to another big hearing company specifically for a higher salary. Connect seems to be more competitive with salary now, as when I rejoined I got a salary increase.
