Pros

During my three years at ConferenceDirect my responsibilities increased quite a bit. While there wasn't impecable upward mobility in the corporate office—which is almost entirely collections, administration, and accounting—there is a little room to grow if one is dedicated and works hard. I worked at ConferenceDirect before attending university and I couldn't imagine doing the work that I did back then at this time (I would definitely slam my head against my desk over and over again). However, it was a good place for a low-skilled worker just starting out to get some industry experience. Almost all of the remote sales people and corporate employees were incredibly nice and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Cons

Not a particularly interesting or fun place to work; a bit dull. Most of the work that takes place at the corporate office is neither challenging nor stimulating. For recent graduates interested in accounting, finance, or analysis, there really isn't must going on at ConferenceDirect to get excited about. Moreover, I believe the mundane nature of the work would likely stifle creative thinking. But if you like structured problems as well as straightforward and repetitive work, you'll do fine there.
