Pros

I loved Conde Nast. I worked there fore 3 years as an Account Manager and then Sales Development Director. It is an extremely challenging, demanding job and you are expected to be out on calls 15 x per week. Late nights and dinners. I loved it but its not for everyone. You need to have alligator skin and you need to be strong, on your A game ALL the time, and ready to put the time in. As long as your publisher is working for you and not the other way around you will survive and THRIVE. When your management likes you....they pay you....A LOT.

Cons

The pressure to perform can be crushing at times. You are expected to be absolutely excellent every day and also be prepared to spend heavily on your wardrobe. you need to look the part too and if you don't look the part you wont last long. The brutal truth.

Pros

You’re wealthy enough to be relaxed, but not wealthy enough to be careless.

Cons

but NYC’s costs prevent true luxury unless income is much higher.

Pros

Great to be in proximity to such amazing brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair and the New Yorker

Cons

Pay is absolutely criminal unless you're "bonus eligible." Another billion dollar company crying poverty. Also, absolutely zero possibility of advancement.
