Pros

Some clinicians and mid-managers do truly care about the amazing mission. Unfortunately, this employee pool is rapidly shrinking.

Cons

This entire review is heartbreaking to write - I truly loved this company when I started. Everyone I met and worked with had such a strong “why” behind their dedication to Concert. Unfortunately, the moral compass has shifted since the decision was made to bring in a new COO in early 2023 - who has systematically brought in her own operational team to replace directors and lead various departments (and allegedly given them raises outside of the regular company timeline, despite below market pay for clinicians). There is no clearly communicated company strategy for the rapid growth Concert is experiencing (I don’t think one actually exists yet, because prioritie$ are off), and a weakened foundation that will not support such growth. Frequent reorganizations are set in motion before any contingency plan is in place, starting in March 2023 with a rushed hunger game type process asking veteran clinical leadership employees to re apply for their own newly packaged jobs. They offered 2/3 the number of jobs as existing employees, and posted all positions publicly - leaving many clinicians feeling slapped in the face. No plan for the inevitable impact to services (not to mention impact on company morale, which was never discussed), as evidenced by HR calls to employees pushed out months earlier asking them to come back in Q3. These ongoing chaotic reorgs - two so far in 2023 - result in a fractured workforce that affects patient care, a significant decrease in employee satisfaction NPS scores two quarters in a row, and partner facing teams having to (try to) explain and clean up the mess surrounding months long staffing gaps. We get it- it’s a fast paced startup and money is tight. But there is a graceful way to grow and scale, and this is not it.

Pros

This company is consistently looking at Waze to stand out in the mental health field, and has received feedback regarding opportunities for growth, training on a consistent basis, and the concerns regarding metrics, and have made changes to all of these things which I think helps with employee satisfaction.

Cons

The pay is ok, definitely not one of the tops in the field of mental health organizations.

Pros

It was remote which was nice. The Pay was good.

Cons

So I didn't even get to see clients. I literally started doing training and they apparently didn't like my role play. They didn't give me any feedback. I worked for about a month. For 2 weeks I didn't hear anything about what I should be doing. I shadowed occasionally, that was about it. Suddenly a meeting and was told they're letting me go because my role play wasn't to their liking. I mean you're recording me and expect me to be a breed actor? The meeting I had with the supervisor was very cold and made up a whole bunch of lies about why they're letting me go. They didn't even get me to respond and quickly ended the meeting being fired like I didn't even have time to process.
