      Exciting start-up culture in growth mode. Even as economy faltered, impacting elective procedures, management did their best to invest in the sales force.

      Cons

      Purchased by Bayer in 2013, significantly changing leadership and culture. Prior to that, political power structure was shifting to more cut-throat survival mode with inside executives.

      Pros

      This was, and still is, the best product on the market for women who have decided their family is complete and who do not want to ever worry about getting pregnant. It is a game-changing idea, and innovative concept for women.

      Cons

      The second-in-charge was more concerned with putting buddies in cushy jobs and trying to sell off the company, than building the company and adding to the product offering. A classic case of someone who only knows one trick (which usually works), but "OPPS" - the economy tanked.
