      Pros

      Weekends off. Interesting. Not mentally taxing.

      Cons

      Operations driven not Medical best care. Hostile workplace. Working without proper lunch break 9 or more hours - no breaks. Chaotic. Ancillary staff at times not adequately trained. Serious Computer Network issues with operating errors frequent Frequent verbal abuse from patients. Physical threats by patients and no security measures.

      Pros

      The pay is higher than most employers offer for similar positions. The benefits like PTO & sick time are higher (with increased seniority).

      Cons

      No paid holidays. The culture is not as warm & "family-like" as it has been in the past. If you do not fit a specific "mold" for leadership they will not hire or promote you despite your vast knowledge & added value to the team.
