      Being a Medical Assistant you use all the skill you learned in school.

      Cons

      Fast pace no one on one interaction with patients. Fast food of medical get them in get them out.

      Pros

      The pay is higher than most employers offer for similar positions. The benefits like PTO & sick time are higher (with increased seniority).

      Cons

      No paid holidays. The culture is not as warm & "family-like" as it has been in the past. If you do not fit a specific "mold" for leadership they will not hire or promote you despite your vast knowledge & added value to the team.
