Pros
- Great, highly skilled, high performers co-workers: From QA to devs to architects, all of the people you will work with are very good at what they do. You will always learn from them and they are always eager to teach you. Everybody is helpful and motivated to get the job done.
- No communication issues with other offices around the world (even if they are in different countries)
- Interesting projects (if you're new to telecom, it might be a bit overwhelming at the beginning, but you quickly pick up with the help of everybody there)
- Great pay if you are a high performer
- 360 evaluation. Feedback is gathered from management, subordinates and peers, This gives you the chance to offer feedback about your manager and to avoid situations where you get a bad evaluation because of that 1 colleague you had an argument with.
- Nice benefits along with salary (bonus days off, project bonus, project outings, sick days off, working from home, pretty flexible schedule, close to Piata Victoriei)
-
Cons
- Management focused on results and only once per year on people (when evaluations begin). Feedback is scarce, but is taken into account when is communicated.
- Requires you to be self driven and self learning. If you do not want to constantly grow and gain new skills, this is not the place for you. It becomes tiring at some point but this depends on your personal style.
