Pros

Little to no interference from management. Employee has the ability to schedule their own work. Compuvision provides a relaxed and casual work environment.

Cons

No paid hoidays, with very little paid time off. On holidays if you do not have any time off earned you loose pay for that holiday. Very frustrating trying to raise a family and missing out on a days pay. This company tries to pay at the bottom of the pay scale.

Pros

Compuvision has helped me build my career. I've been here a long time because its a great place to work. I am part of a team that helps each other get things done and make a difference. It is a smaller company, so I'm not just a number, I'm a person. This is a great environment for self-starters, people with initiative and an entrepreneurial outlook. I'm a figure-outer. I enjoy new challenges, and like to learn new things each day. It would be boring if I had to do the same thing all day every day. Compensation is good, and is affected by how much you bill. The more billable work I do, or the higher billable rate I work at, the more I can make. It's an incentive to continue to increase my education and skills. There are many opportunities to increase my education, experience and skills, with help from the company. Management is supportive and will work with me if I have personal or family issues come up that I need to handle.

Cons

The work is often hard, and sometimes things need to get done that you may not want to do. I guess that's why its called work and not something else. If you are looking to have someone else figure it out for you, or work on autopilot, or put your feet up and have others carry you, or 'baby bird' your career to you this is not good fit. This is a smaller company. Staffing is slim, so when someone is out we feel it. Compensation is good, but is affected by how much you bill. If you are looking for a flat wage or salary this is not the right place.

Pros

Cons

Pay is low with little guarantee of pay increase, very little room for advancement from within.
