      Good coworkers. Lots of experience conducting assessments and therapy. Learned a lot. Helped some people who really needed it. Other CMH opportunities can be worse.

      Heavy workload, tough cases, low pay, excessive paperwork, disconnected upper management.

      → Meaningful work with crisis patients → Decent pay and benefits on paper → Some wonderful frontline coworkers

      Cons

      → Toxic clique culture among certain leads and supervisors that HR refuses to address → Experienced nurses with clean records are suddenly targeted with anonymous complaints and unfair investigations → Extremely high turnover (90%+ in some teams) speaks for itself → Management plays favorites; if you’re not in the inner circle, you’re eventually pushed out
