      Pros

      You can literally do anything and not be terminated because they are so short staffed.

      Cons

      Super short staffed, over worked, under paid and the people running the show in the federal campus. Have no clue what it’s like to work the front lines. Takes forever to even be hired and they offer ridiculous wages for the risks associated with the job.

      → Meaningful work with crisis patients → Decent pay and benefits on paper → Some wonderful frontline coworkers

      Cons

      → Toxic clique culture among certain leads and supervisors that HR refuses to address → Experienced nurses with clean records are suddenly targeted with anonymous complaints and unfair investigations → Extremely high turnover (90%+ in some teams) speaks for itself → Management plays favorites; if you’re not in the inner circle, you’re eventually pushed out
