Pros
All of the employees understand the importance of the work they do in food service. In the hospital setting, taking the meal orders of the patients and spending a few minutes with them and their families is very rewarding.
Cons
The supervisors expect you to do your paperwork standing up. In the course of a 12 hour workday, we were able to sit down for the 2 - 30 minute meal breaks and 3 (if time permitted) 15 minute breaks.
