Pros

They pay 100% of your insurance benefit, the building is nice. They let you do marijuana at your desk, nap, watch movies on your phone and eat a huge meal at your desk while you work!! Also if you or your spouse is pregnant, the insurance starts immediately so you can get your maternity leave and benefits right away! If you are the personality type that you dont work hard and are lazy, this is the job for you!!

Cons

Management is constantly unavailable and in meetings. If you are a good hard worker then you will not be promoted. If you do apply for an inhouse promotion it will take months for you to find out if you get the job. Most likely you will not get promoted because they usually already know who they are going to pick anyway. HR is the absolute worse. Dont go to them with any issues unless you want the entire company to know about it.

Pros

One of the things that stands out most about CompSource Mutual is the culture. It is genuinely collaborative, supportive, and made up of people who want to see each other succeed. In a lot of workplaces, “culture” can feel like a buzzword, but here it truly feels different. There is also a strong focus on both personal and professional growth and development. Employees are encouraged to continue learning, develop new skills, share ideas, and grow in their careers. I have appreciated being in an environment that values continuous improvement and invests in its people. No workplace is perfect, but the culture and commitment to growth make this a place where people can genuinely thrive.

Cons

Like many workplaces, the workload can be demanding at times, and there are periods that are fast-paced. That said, leadership recognizes the importance of work/life balance and has been making meaningful strides to improve processes and leverage technology, including AI, to help create more efficiency and better support employees.

Pros

Extremely nice people work here. Great benefits.

Cons

Literally the worst training I have ever received in a job. I asked for more training and was told that they were too busy. I then was penalized for not performing the task to their standards. I had coworkers that did less work than me, but were coddled because they had been there longer. They take care of their employees that have been around longer, but churned through new employees. I had a friend quit without any backup because he was so overwhelmed and overworked. I was not given an exit interview to voice my complaints to anyone there. It was the most stressful job I’ve ever had.
