Business outlook

Pros

Half priced meals to employees at hospital, beautiful facility. Physical connection to hospital makes transfers easy for acute care. Accessability of mental health support for residents is great. Availability of wound care consultants and care is very good.

Cons

Nepotism in nsg dept. re: RNAC dept. HR involved in staff issues. Hospital demands on LTC administration takes staff and time away from LTC. RNAC dept not willing to work with staff nurses to help improve issues. Lack of orientation training for new staff and inability to locate nursing policies and procedures. LONG hallways connecting nursing units makes managment difficult. Nursing Assistants unsupervised.
