-Free use of hospital facilities, you aren't billed for things like lab work or MRIs -Good place to gain experience
Cons
-Pay usually is not up to average market value -Company ignores industry standards -Aging equipment and infrastructure, no plans to update -Decisions often made at a high level with no input from those working 'where the rubber meets the road' -Most facilities run by a productivity spreadsheet, no thought given to market/community -Annual pay increases always around 1%, no chance for advancement
