Pros
The company runs lean but this is a double edged sword. They seem to promote anyone into any kind of position without experience so it is a great for opportunity for some. Most Administrative Assistants are promoted as Data Analyst even though they do not have the skillset.
Cons
When a real analyst comes along, the department will expect you to turn water into wine and you will be alone because all of the other analyst were never qualified. They are not using any type of Analytical tools and require the use of Excel to the max. It is always beyond formulas and turns into programming. It is also important to keep in mind that because the company is so behind the times, your growth can become stunted.
