You get to work with those most in need of services and give back to your community. At the level where you have patient interaction the staff are wonderful to work with.

High turnover driven by inconsistent and ineffective leadership. Communication is poor — emails often go unanswered for months. Contracted resources are allowed to lapse and can take months to be renewed. Leadership frequently dismisses valuable opportunities, even at the cost of losing significant grant funding, if the idea didn’t originate within their inner circle.
