Pros

Compensation and autonomy are higher in the home health setting than other physical therapy settings

Cons

Poor support staff and management. Very resistant to new ideas and change. Focused on the dollar, not the patient.

Pros

Flexible schedule, work from home, no weekends.

Cons

Pay increases annually are minuscule and insulting if you qualify for it. The pay range for the job description currently is $18-$31/hr, however an employee who has been working in this role for 25+ years doesn't even make the highest amount so it seems pretty unattainable. Micromanaging and favoritism are very prevalent.
