Pros

I learned a lot, my supervisor actually taught me new skills and I left better qualified than when I went in. Also, I interned there in 2013, but Glassdoor won’t let me put that year.

Cons

None, it was fine. Only issue is New York city is expensive for interns, but CPJ was clear about how much they could pay me before I started.

Pros

The work is so important and you have an opportunity to really contribute positively to the world.

Cons

Some directors are unprofessional and unkind. HR is nonexistent and makes it clear that they are advocating for the org, not the employees. All union employees are underpaid for the immense amount of work we do.
