The company will do whatever they can to pump results out of you and then throw you away when you're done. They've already fired their original Vice-President and most of the original development team is gone. They do not value team cohesion. They do not value you for more than what you can put in. Again, this concept is pretty standard for most businesses, however, if you're going to work your employees tons of hours (much more than 40 a week; and trust me you'll be working more than 40 a week), then you're going to have to compensate in return.
All that matters is the bottom line. There's nothing wrong with that, after all, they are a business. But it's certainly not a place I'd want to work for. (And from which I eventually left).
