Ron Perry has successfully run the company for two decades. At the time I was working there, the company was very profitable. The founders got rich. Employees also reaped the benefits through a generous ESOP. It's not a startup that's going to run out of money and lay off its employees.
Cons
Ron Perry, the CEO, can be abrasive sometimes. However, he's also approachable and very smart. The company is subjected to regulatory risks. It may not be able to remain as profitable as it has been, The CEO is actively defending the interests of his company and employees (and also customers), frequently testifying in front of the CPUC.
