Pros

Made great friends with some of my team and work was close to home. Really enjoyed my clients.

Cons

Small agency run by a narcistic husband/wife team. Unrealistic policies and procedures were constantly changing. Owner couldn't decide if he wanted his unprofessional and childish wife in or out of the company. Numerous team members walked out due to the extreme workloads and unrealistic expectations, limited training, favoritism, and discriminatory behavior by both the owner and his wife. The expectation is to manage your own heavy workload and any additional jobs other team members can't handle or have left in their exit - with no overtime. Owner demanded his team follow his exact way of working - down to how fast your mouse moved on your computer!

Pros

CCIA is an amazing company to work for! Culture is of the upmost importance to the owner and upper management. They ensure each employee is happy and fulfilled and are always looking for ways to uplift and support staff to reach their highest potential! No glass ceilings here- CCIA wants you to grow with them! We are all apart of a team here at CCIA and that is apparent each and everyday. Staff is always willing to help and support one another.

Cons

Be ready to work!! Fast paced environment especially during Q4 due to a high volume of 12/31 and 1/1 renewal dates.

Pros

Management is very open, willing to listen to all concerns and new ideas, from snacks in the office to starting a brand new department within the agency. Mobility is possible, all you have to do is open the dialogue and management will put you on the track to achieving your goals. Yes, you have to EARN your salary, but if you put in the work, you will see it pay off! Paul is all about building his current staff up and putting them in a position to maximize their potential. If you feel your current role does not allow for that, he genuinely wants to know and he will make a point of finding a solution that allows you to excel. In addition, there is great importance placed on work/life balance. Paul and Samantha are incredibly supportive of employees' personal lives and needs, and the office does fun events together- bowling, paint night, even a company retreat (for employees AND their significant others), 100% paid for by Commercial Coverage.

Cons

Every position at the company is a busy one. There is a lot of work to be done- some thrive under the pressure, some break. This is how diamonds are made, people!
